Affiliate Terms

Introduction

Welcome to the One Controller Affiliate Program. These Affiliate Terms (“Terms”) govern your participation in our affiliate program. By signing up as an affiliate, you agree to be bound by these Terms, as well as our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

Affiliate Program Overview

The One Controller Affiliate Program allows you to earn commissions by referring customers to our voice transcription application. When a customer signs up through your unique referral code or link and purchases a subscription, you earn a commission on their payments.

Commission Structure

Commission Rate

You will earn a percentage commission on all subscription payments made by customers you refer, as specified in your affiliate dashboard. This commission rate may vary based on promotions or special affiliate tiers.

Lifetime Recurring Commissions

Commissions are paid for the lifetime of the referred customer's subscription, as long as:

• The customer maintains an active paid subscription
• Your affiliate account remains in good standing
• The customer was not previously a One Controller customer

Commission Calculation

Commissions are calculated based on the actual payment received from the customer, excluding taxes, refunds, chargebacks, and payment processing fees.

Payment Terms

Payment Schedule

Commissions are paid monthly via Stripe Connect. Payments are typically processed within 30 days after the end of each calendar month.

Minimum Payout

There is no minimum payout threshold. You will receive payment for all earned commissions, regardless of amount.

Payment Method

Payments are made exclusively through Stripe Connect. You must have a valid Stripe account connected to receive payments. We are not responsible for any delays or issues with Stripe's payment processing.

Refunds and Chargebacks

If a referred customer requests a refund or initiates a chargeback, any commissions paid for that transaction will be deducted from your future earnings.

Affiliate Responsibilities

Promotional Guidelines

As an affiliate, you agree to:

• Promote One Controller honestly and accurately
• Not make false or misleading claims about our product
• Not use spam or deceptive marketing practices
• Clearly disclose your affiliate relationship when promoting One Controller
• Comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including FTC disclosure guidelines

Prohibited Activities

You may not:

• Use your own referral code or link to make purchases for yourself
• Encourage fraudulent sign-ups or transactions
• Bid on One Controller branded keywords in paid search campaigns
• Use trademark terms in domain names or social media handles without permission
• Engage in cookie stuffing or other fraudulent tracking methods
• Promote One Controller in a way that damages our brand or reputation

Referral Tracking

Referral Code and Links

You will receive a unique referral code and tracking links. These are for your personal use only and may not be shared with other affiliates or used in automated systems.

Cookie Duration

When a customer clicks your referral link, a tracking cookie is stored. The cookie duration and attribution rules are subject to our technical implementation and may change with notice.

Attribution

If a customer uses multiple referral codes or links, attribution will be given according to our last-click attribution model, unless otherwise specified in your affiliate dashboard.

Account Management

Account Information

You are responsible for maintaining accurate account information, including your payment details and contact information. We are not liable for missed payments due to incorrect information.

Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your affiliate account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.

Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your affiliate account at any time for:

• Violation of these Terms
• Fraudulent or deceptive practices
• Inactivity for an extended period
• Any reason at our sole discretion

Relationship

Your participation in the affiliate program does not create an employment, partnership, joint venture, or agency relationship with One Controller. You are an independent contractor and are responsible for your own taxes and compliance with applicable laws.

Intellectual Property

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, revocable license to use One Controller trademarks and marketing materials solely for the purpose of promoting our products as an affiliate. You may not:

• Modify our trademarks or branding
• Use our intellectual property in a way that suggests endorsement without permission
• Register domain names, social media handles, or other identifiers containing our trademarks

Limitation of Liability

One Controller shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your participation in the affiliate program. Our total liability shall not exceed the total commissions paid to you in the 12 months prior to the claim.

Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Affiliate Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or through your affiliate dashboard. Continued participation after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

Program Changes

We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the affiliate program at any time, with or without notice. In the event of program termination, we will pay out all earned commissions according to the existing payment schedule.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of [Your Jurisdiction], without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
