Introduction

OneController is a simple voice-to-text transcription tool with a floating interface that works everywhere. Convert speech to text in any application with just a click.

Installation

Get started with OneController in just a few steps:

  1. Download OneController for your operating system
  2. Run the installer and follow the setup wizard
  3. Grant microphone permissions when prompted
  4. A floating window will appear on your screen - you're ready to go!

Pure Transcription

Simple speech-to-text typing that works in any application. Just click transcribe, speak naturally, and your words are typed automatically.

Auto-Stop Timer

Intelligent automatic stopping after periods of silence. Perfect for when you step away from your computer.

Multilingual Support

Supports 25 European languages with auto-detection including English, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Dutch, and more.

AI Correction

Real-time AI automatically removes filler words, fixes grammar, and adds proper punctuation for professional polish.

Retroactive Fixes

AI intelligently corrects previous sentences when you verbally correct yourself. Goes back up to 2 sentences automatically - no manual editing required.

First: "I have a meeting with the marketing team"
You say: "Sorry, I meant sales team"
AI corrects to: "I have a meeting with the sales team"

Context Understanding

Remembers conversation history and recognizes your intent. Distinguishes between content to type and commands to execute like "make that more formal" or "delete that last part".

AI understands context from previous sentences and knows when you're issuing a command versus dictating content to be typed.

How to Use

Basic Transcription

  1. Click transcribe - Click the "Transcribe" button
  2. Speak naturally - OneController listens to your voice
  3. Get typed text - Your words appear automatically in the active application
  4. Visual feedback - Notifications show transcription status

Global Hotkeys

  • F9: Start transcription from anywhere in your system
  • F10: Stop transcription and return to normal mode
  • System-wide access: Works regardless of which application has focus
  • No clicking required: Keep your hands on the keyboard for maximum efficiency

Window Management

  • Move window: Click and drag to reposition anywhere
  • Right-click menu: Access context menu with close option

Click "Transcribe" → Speak: "Hello world" → Types: "Hello world"
Works in any text field: emails, documents, chat apps, web forms, etc.

Settings & Configuration

Access settings by clicking the Settings button in the floating window:

  • Transcription Model: Choose English-only (highest accuracy) or Multilingual (25 languages)
  • AI Correction: Enable/disable AI-powered text correction including filler word removal, grammar fixes, punctuation, and retroactive corrections
  • Auto-Stop Timer: Configure automatic transcription stopping (1-60 minutes)
  • Subscription: Manage your OneController subscription and billing
  • Affiliate Program: Access affiliate dashboard with commission tracking and payouts
  • Account: Manage your account settings and preferences

Troubleshooting

Common Issues

  • Voice not working: Check microphone permissions in system settings and ensure mic is not muted
  • App won't start: Try restarting OneController or reboot your computer
  • Transcription not appearing: Make sure you have an active text field selected in another application
  • Poor accuracy: Speak clearly and check your microphone quality
