Common Issues

Microphone Not Working

  • Check microphone permissions in your system settings
  • Make sure no other application is using the microphone
  • Try unplugging and reconnecting your microphone
  • Restart OneController

Transcription Not Appearing

  • Make sure you have clicked in a text field or application
  • Check that the target application allows text input
  • Try clicking the Transcribe button again
  • Speak clearly and at a normal pace

App Won't Start

  • Try restarting your computer
  • Check if another instance of OneController is already running
  • Run as administrator (Windows) or with proper permissions

Poor Transcription Accuracy

  • Speak clearly and at a moderate pace
  • Reduce background noise
  • Check your language settings in the app
  • Make sure your microphone is positioned correctly

Hotkeys Not Working

  • Make sure OneController is running and active
  • Check if another application is using F9/F10 hotkeys
  • Try running OneController as administrator (Windows)
  • Restart OneController to refresh hotkey registration
